I just got this bag so a 5 star review might be a little premature but all things considered (price, size, build quality, comfort, features) I’m very happy with this bag and think they did a very good job with this release, however I can’t speak for longevity or durability yet, but I think it’ll hold up pretty well. There’s good stitching at the seams that doesn’t seem like they’ll rip immediately with counterweight (much like their Deluxe bag smh) and they’re re-enforced with rivets at stress points on the shoulder straps. Hopefully all the metal hoops and buckles will stand the test of time and not snap or break. There’s nifty pockets and hoops throughout the bag for all my gadgets (sticks/stick bag, headphones/IEMS, towels, tools/drummer survival kits, etc.) making this ideal for a quick and easy way to transport my gear more efficiently. Very functional, making the most out of what I have to work with, I like that.Mostly, I like that Zildjian offers this bag in a 24” size to accommodate my 23” ride and surprisingly my 16” Meinl extra dry medium high hats just fit zipped up in the front pocket, even though it’s listed as a 15” pocket! Which it basically is, but still… works for me! The strap padding is a nice touch for some extra comfort and another cool feature is the con-caved bucket design at the bottom of the bag to contain all my cymbals nicely and help prevent some of them from missing the bottom padding, therefore the edges of my cymbals are resting on the seam of the bag, separated only by a thin piece of material on the concrete, which has been all to familiar with my other bags and kind of harsh… so overall, good protection.I feel this is a well thought out bag by Zildjian. It’s cool they offer a few colors with matching stick bags, which are also very nice and well thought out. I was very impressed with Meinls rip-stop cymbal gig bag (and their stick bag) which I also own but unfortunately it fits up to 22” cymbals so of course doesn’t help me for this project of mine, but fortunately for me Zildjian released a bag that’s VERY similar and if I’m not mistaken, costs a bit less as well so it’s a win win.One thing against this bag that I’ll mention… I don’t understand why they decided to leave out cymbal sleeves for this bag… I don’t like that I had to spend an additional $25 for 5 sleeves when they should just throw a couple in the bag to make it easy on us. I suppose they’re not necessary but they are useful and who doesn’t like them? If Zildjian did this purposely to get us to spend more money than why not just include them and charge a few bucks more for the bag? Idk, just thought that was kind of odd and would help save us the need to order separately.Regardless, I’d really have no problem recommending this bag to anyone and it’s nice that Amazon somehow offers this at a lower price than anywhere else which is always a good thing so whatever, it’s all good!
